Spongebobs are one of the favorite cartoon characters and children love to draw them. With the following the instructions you can also easily learn how to draw spongebob characters. However, you can add your imagination and drawing skill to draw the characters more attractive.

1. The basic shape of the spongebob cartoon is cubic. So, start off your lesson on how to draw spongebob characters by drawing a cube, slightly tilted towards the back. The sides of the rectangles that you draw inside the cube need not be same or perfectly straight. If you closely observe the spongebob cartoons you can see that the face is slightly bended towards one side. As the cubic shape is drawn from a side viewing angle, in most of the figures, the main frame of the drawing includes two sides of the face or body- front, and left or right side.

3. Now, it’s time to draw hands and legs of the spongebob. Draw four slightly curved rectangles or triangles- two on both sides and two on bottom- to the main sponge shape. Draw the hands from the small rectangles or triangles that you have drawn on both sides of the face. You can sketch straight or L-shaped arms with palms and fingers at the end. Also you can add the accessory to the arms if you want the spongebob holding something. Draw the legs depending on what the character is doing in the sketch.
4. Clothes become an important part of drawing spongebob characters and that include drawing shirt, pant, tie, and socks. Make his shirt, collars and tie below the face. Draw the shoes by adding round shapes or triangles to the legs. Also, by drawing single or double lines below its knees you can make socks. Draw its belt on the waist line as small rectangles.
5. As you are about to finish the sketch, at this point, you can erase the unwanted lines that you have drawn earlier to mark the frame of its face.
6. The last but most important part of drawing spongebob character is adding spongebob holes. While drawing the pores on his body, remember that the shapes and sizes shouldn’t be same. If you can give the circles slightly unevenness by drawing wavy lines, it will look better.
7. As you are almost done with your drawing, you can think of adding your creativity at this point. Personalize your drawing by adding different types of clothes and shoes to the spongbob. You can also add colors to different parts of the sketch. Also, you can draw the spongebob in standing, walking or running positions. 	Name: Plankton Occupation: Owner of Chum Bucket Restaurant Nobody ever eats at the Chum Bucket Restaurant, so Plankton is trying to steal the Krabby Patty recipe from the Krabby Patty.
	Name: Larry T. Lobster Occupation: Lifeguard Larry's a strong muscular lobster who spends all his time at the beach. He's popular with the ladies and he's always lifting weights.

Tempat tinggalnya adalah sebuah kubah akuarium kedap air dan berisi udara. Ciri khas rumahnya adalah mempunyai pohon besar sebagai tempat tinggalnya. Spongebob dan Patrick bila berkunjung harus terus menerus memakai mangkuk penuh berisi air yang dipakai terbalik menutupi kepala mereka. SpongeBob SquarePants
SpongeBob is a sea sponge who lives with his pet snail, Gary, in a fully furnished, two bedroom...pineapple. SpongeBob's dream in life is to be the ocean's ultimate fry cook, and thanks to his job flipping Krabby Patties at the Krusty Krab, he lives that dream every day.

SpongeBob is as optimistic and earnest as a sea-dwelling sponge gets, but he can't seem to avoid getting himself, and usually everyone else around him, into trouble. While trying too hard, he tends to do things wrong...really wrong...which usually spells disaster. But SpongeBob's always looking on the bright side of life, and his enthusiasm about just about everything makes him downright irresistible.


Patrick Star
Patrick is SpongeBob's neighbor and best friend, and his great ambition in life can be summed up in four words: "Uh...I...uh...forget." As SpongeBob's closest pal, Patrick is always offering his advice and encouragement.

Unfortunately, Patrick's not exactly the brightest sea star in the sea (if you catch our drift), and he usually ends up helping SpongeBob into a heap of trouble. Even their simplest plans end in disaster. But for better or worse, Patrick will always be SpongeBob's loyal buddy.

Squidward Tentacles
Squidward is a mean, whiny, stick-in-the-mud squid who thinks he's better than everyone else. Just about everything annoys him. The Krusty Krab annoys him. The customers annoy him. Mr. Krabs annoys him. But most of all, SpongeBob annoys him, almost 24 hours a day.

Besides working side by side with SpongeBob at the Krusty Krab, Squidward is SpongeBob's next-door neighbor. If it weren't for the fact that SpongeBob is the only one who likes listening to his clarinet playing, Squidward would have nothing to do with him. SpongeBob, on the other hand, thinks the two of them are the lunch shift dream team


Mr. Krabs
Mr. Krabs is SpongeBob's boss and the owner of The Krusty Krab. Making money is what it's all about for Mr. Krabs, and he can usually be found in his office counting his cash and adding up the day's receipts.

Although SpongeBob gets on his nerves, Mr. Krabs likes that he's willing to work long hours for little pay, and sometimes acts like his mentor.
Mr. Krabs hates his fast food rival Plankton, the owner of The Chum Bucket, but not as much as Plankton hates him. The only thing that has more control over Mr. Krabs than money is his teenage daughter, Pearl.

Plankton
Mr. Krabs's arch-rival Plankton is a little guy with a major attitude. The owner of rival restaurant The Chum Bucket, Plankton's always cooking up dastardly schemes to steal the Krusty Krab's secrect Krabby Patty recipe and its customers. If he succeeded, they'd be the first customers he ever had!

Sandy Cheeks
Sandy is a tree-dome-dwelling squirrel who lives for action and adventure. Having attempted just about every death-defying stunt under the ocean, she's accepted the ultimate challenge: Living underneath it in an oxygen-filled dome.

Sandy is Bikini Bottom's only resident rodent, and SpongeBob's karate sparring partner. For Sandy, SpongeBob is the sea bottom's best stunt buddy, and when they get together, crash helmets and parachutes are usually required

Gary
SpongeBob's loyal pet may not move so fast. He may leave a trail of slime everywhere he goes. He may not be so good at catching frisbees or fetching slippers. But Gary's the best darn pet an invertebrate sea sponge with square pants could possibly ask for, and that's all that matters. Meow.

When Everybody Gone

• When You are Spongebob Squarepants, and … Gone…
  Satu hari di Bikini Bottom. Suasana pagi yang segar, indah, seperti biasanya. Arus air di Bikini Bottom masih tetap tenang. Hmm… suasana yang indah untuk bekerja, dan juga untuk menangkap ubur-ubur tentunya.
  Whhoomm…. Jam 6 pagi. Suara jam weker Spongebob membangunkan  Spongebob. Tanda bahwa aktifitas Bikini Bottom akan segera dimulai. Spons kuning kotak yang hidup di rumah nanasnya ini pun bergegas bangun. Ingin segera menyambut pagi dengan ceria. Seperti biasanya. Membangunkan Gerry, memberi makan Gerry, mandi pagi, mengucapkan selamat pagi pada Squidward, pada Patrick, dan pada orang-orang yang ditemui di jalan ketika berangkat ke Krusty Crab. Di Krusty Crab, menjadi koki, membuat Crabby Patty, menyapa pelanggan, dan lain-lainnya.
  Hmm, bangun tidur, menyapa Gerry dulu tentunya. Namun, hmm, aada yang aneh. “Di mana Gerry?”, pikir Spongebob. Gerry hilaang… Huff, yang penting aktifitas masih tetap seperti biasanya. Berangkat, yang pasti harus menyapa Squidward dan Patrick.
  “Selamat pagi Squidward!!”. Kok tidak ada sahutan.
  “Selamat pagi Patrick!!”. Sama juga tidak menyahut.
  Sampai Krusty Crab. “Selamat pagi Tuan Crab!!”, Tuan Crab masih belum tiba??
  Hmm.. aneh sekali hari ini. Ah yang penting tetap bekerja. Harus semangat bekerja. Memasak Crabby Patty, kebanggaan setiap orang di Bikini Bottom.
  Teng teng…
  Malam tiba, saatnya pulang.
  “Hmm, pasti Gerry sudah menghabiskan makanan yang telah kusiapkan tadi pagi. Ixixixixi…” pikir Spongebob.
  Sampai di rumah nanas tercinta. What… Gerry masih hilang.
  “Squidward, Squidward… Gerry hilang!!”, teriak Spongebob masuk ke rumahnya Squidward. Tapi, “Squidward hilang juga…”
  “Patrick, Patrick… Gerry dan Squidward hilang!!, teriak Spongebob menggedor rumah batu Patrick. Dan lagi, Patrick juga hilang. Cari di seluruh Bikini Bottom. Tuan Crab hilang, Shandy hilang, dan “Everybody’s gone!”
  Pernahkah kamu merasakan seperti ini? ketika semua orang yang kamu cari menghilang. Semua pergi, entah kemana perginya. Atau entah apa yang terjadi, namun kamu menjadi sendirian. Sepi, tidak ada orang yang diajak beraktifitas.
  Namun, dengarkan apa yang dikatakan Spongebob.
  Dan apa yang ada di pikiran Spongebob.
  “Everybody’s gone!
  But I swear that I, will keep the memory of Bikini Bottom alive.
  By living up their lives for them.”
